Police identify woman found shot to death in Central Florida

Orlando police are working to find out who shot and killed a woman.The woman’s body was found inside of a home on Bentley Street, not far from the Parramore neighborhood, on Wednesday afternoon.The victim was identified as Aniyyah Jackson, 18.”She had so much to live for. I don’t understand,” Cassandra Jackson, Aniyyah’s mother told WESH 2 News. “Nobody is saying nothing to me. I guess it just don’t matter. I just know — for my child and my grandchild, I want to know why it happened to her. For what reason?”Police say Aniyyah Jackson was murdered inside the home where she had been staying. According to family and friends, she had just moved in with her 2-year-old daughter. “I’m going to get to the end and find out what happened to my baby if it takes every last breathe of me. I’m going to find out what happened to my baby,” Cassandra Jackson said. An investigation into Aniyyah’s murder is still under investigation.
